Expert in learning difficulties

I first qualified as a modern foreign languages teacher in 1995 and have worked in education in a variety of settings and roles.

I also work as a translator. I started on the pathway to qualification as a specialist teacher and assessor for students with SpLD (dyslexia) in 2014 and spent several years delivering specialist SpLD teaching on a 1:1 basis to school students in the upper primary and lower secondary age range.

I am experienced in carrying out SpLD assessments for DSA in Higher Education and am qualified to investigate dyspraxia DCD and characteristics of ADHD in students aged 16+, as well as assessing for SpLD (dyslexia) in children aged 8 and above.
